Hillsong Africa Foundation
The Hillsong Africa Foundation is a non-profit organization that was born out of the charity arm of Hillsong Church in Cape Town, South Africa. The foundation began with a group of volunteers who wanted to help the poorest of their communities by providing for their basic needs like food & shelter. In time the extensive community needs far outweighed the funding capacity of the church, and the separate foundation was established in 2009. Over the years the foundation has grown in mission and scope, and is now involved in many community projects including feeding programs, orphan care, women’s shelters, disaster relief, wheelchair distribution, substance abuse programs, job skills training centers, prison programs, and the Tembaletu School. In many instances the foundation works alongside existing non-profits who are already doing great work, and where there is need the foundation initiates it’s own programs, such as the Tembaletu School Project. We have partnered with HAF and contribute monthly towards the organisation.
Paradesi, Place of Safety for Orphans and Vulnerable Children ensures that the children receives proper care, love, passion and advanced education that will be provided by dedicated, passionate, caring caregivers and qualified teachers. They are a registered organization based in Phoenix/Joe Slovo in Milnerton. We contribute to their ICT environment as well as ensure that a monetary donation is made in paid fees.
At Operation Smile we believe every child deserves exceptional surgical care. We believe all children deserve to be treated as if they were our own. That’s what drives each and every one of us: our global network of medical professionals, who donate hundreds of thousands of hours toward the care of children around the world each year, and our supporters who are moved every day to make a difference in the lives of children they’ve never met. Alvarita has partnered with Operation Smile and contribute a percentage of sales towards the organisation.
